NIN: On the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (August 15). Traditional pilgrimage on boats or walking to Our Lady of Zecevo on the island of Zecevo (10 km from the town of Nin).
STARIGRAD – PAKLENICA: From all towns on the Starigrad Riviera citizens go on a pilgrimage on the Assumption of the Virgin Mary (August 15) to Veliko rujno, 1000 m above sea-level on the Velebit Mountain.
KUKLJICA – THE ISLAND OF UGLJAN: A traditional procession of ships from Kukljica to the church of Gospa od sniga (Our Lady of Snow) in the Passage of Zdrelac, when the statue of Our Lady is born and followed by a convoy of ships of all types and sizes.
Additionally, various events are held in other tourist towns during July and August – feasts, which are usually related to honoring patron saints of towns, as well as fishermen’s’ parties, concerts of famous musicians and other events.
